The Role
As our Sales Enablement Manager, you’ll ensure that our sales team is equipped with the necessary resources, tools, knowledge, and training to engage with customers and close deals effectively. You’ll play a crucial role in empowering our SDRs and AEs to perform at their best, ultimately driving revenue growth for the company. Success in the role requires a deep understanding of our products/services, market dynamics, and sales processes with excellent coaching, training, and enablement skills. You’ll collaborate closely with sales leadership, product, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive enablement programs and initiatives.
You’ll Be Doing
- Sales Enablement Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with sales leadership to define sales enablement objectives, priorities, and strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.
- Content Development and Management:
- Develop and maintain a library of sales enablement resources, including sales collateral, playbooks, battle cards, and training materials.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to create and update content that addresses the needs of SDRs and AEs throughout the sales cycle.
- Training and Onboarding:
- Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new AEs, ensuring they deeply understand our products/services, target market, buyer personas, and sales processes.
- Develop and facilitate ongoing training sessions, workshops, and certifications to enhance AEs' knowledge, sales skills, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
- Coaching and Mentorship:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to SDRs and AEs to improve their sales effectiveness, deal strategy, and overall performance.
- Conduct regular ride-along, pipeline reviews, and role-playing exercises to assess AEs' capabilities and provide constructive feedback.
- Sales Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with sales operations to optimize sales processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop initiatives to streamline sales operations and enhance the SDR and AE experience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product management, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales enablement initiatives and overall go-to-market strategy.
- Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to gather feedback, address concerns and drive alignment on key initiatives.
We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience, ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles.
- You have the ability to translate complex information and data into easily consumable insights.
- You’re a self-starter who can roll up your sleeves and get things done.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enable informed decision-making.
- Strong planning, project management and line management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities and meet deadlines.
- Agile mindset, prioritizing impact over activity, with a bias toward simple action to test, learn, and improve.
- Ability to analyze sales data and metrics to inform sales training design.
- Ability to present information in a variety of learning styles.
